Keeping your head above water - finding your 'resilience zone'
Life was busy and challenging enough before the pandemic. Coping with uncertainty and high workloads while trying to support colleagues and family as well as look after ourselves can at times make us feel like we are just treading water. So what does resilience actually mean? Why aren’t people resilient anymore? How do you look after yourself when life is busy? And if we just get on with things won’t that be enough?
Miranda will review the science around these topics and provide a practical overview of what our resilience zone is, how to track when we are in and out of it and go through some brief strategies for getting on top of things when we are in the thick of things.
